Venice Indians Basketball Falls to Sarasota Christian

From North Port, Venice Boys Basketball lost to Sarasota Christian.  The 4th quarter our boys must have shot about 10-15% from the field.  This is only the 3rd loss of the year for the Indians.  Read the full article at this link:

Venice Florida Real Estate Market 2008

NAR home sales report stated the following for 2008.

There were 301, 2 bedroom homes that sold at an average sale price of $155,310.

514, 3 bedroom homes sold at an average sale price of $268,469.

65, 4+ bedroom homes sold at an average sale price of $481,568.

257, Condo's sold at an average sale price of $207,953

Average sale price for homes and condo's for 2008 was $237,002

 

Volume of sales has increased.

2008, 1142 units sold

2007, 1112 units sold

2006, 934 units sold

These numbers were calculated using data from the Venice Board, 1/6/09
