Venice is the "Shark's Tooth Capital of the World". This title was given due to the millions of shark teeth found on Venice's beautiful beaches every year. Each spring, the city celebrates this unique aspect of their community at the Venice Shark's Tooth Festival! The 25th annual festival is taking place this weekend, April 7th-9th, at the Venice Airport Festival Ground. This favorite community events features vendors selling shark teeth and other found fossils and artists from around Florida.
