Fox Lea Farms...An Equestrian Oasis in Venice, FL

For those who know little about Equestrian world, especially in Southwest Florida, we would love to introduce you to Fox Lea Farm! This lovely piece of property in Venice is not only a haven for horse lovers, but it also makes a wonderfully positive impact on the local economy, bringing in over $75 million annually!

Fox Lea Farm was created by Linda Aldrich with a goal to construct clean and beautiful facilities where children, like her daughter Kim Aldrich-Farrell (who is now the Farm’s operations manager!), have a safe place to ride and flourish in their sport. Linda accomplished this, and much more! Sitting on 46 acres, Fox Lea Farm now holds 40 horse shows per year, many of them international, and recently the farm received approval from the United States Equestrian Federation to launch the Venice Equestrian Tour, a six week winter circuit with some of the fiercest competition out there!

Keeping a family friendly atmosphere has always been of utmost importance to the Aldrich family. The farm hosts a large potluck dinner on Thanksgiving, arts and crafts over Valentine’s Day, pumpkin painting over Halloween, and fun camps throughout the summer. The community can also enjoy Friday Night Lights during the Venice Equestrian tour, which includes live music, food trucks, and horsemanship! Fox Lea Farm makes it easy for visitors to experience the site, as it is only $5 to park and enjoy the grounds and watch!
